MAER Scholarship

Currently enrolled students pursuing a degree at a Michigan university in a field of service to people with visual impairments are invited to apply for the 2009 MAER Scholarship.

The value of the scholarship has been increased to $1,000 to assist students in these difficult economic times.

Please consult the attached application form for more information.

All application materials should be collected by the applicant and mailed to Kathy Konow at the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Grand Rapids by March 15, 2009.

The scholarship winner is invited to attend the MAER Conference, April 23-24 at the Marriott Hotel in Livonia Michigan. Conference registration will be provided to the winner. (Hotel and other incidental costs are not included.)
